Teach At Home Thursday: Jello Spelling

I love including food whenever I do a lesson or try to practice spelling words. In my classroom, my students loved Jello, it was one of the foods that all of my students could eat and was easy to make in the classroom.

I started by having the students make the jello in the classroom.

Instead of putting the jello into a bowl or dish, I have the student spoon the jello into a tray. Let set like you normally would.

Once the jello is set, have the kiddos cut out their spelling words, using cookie cutters. Simple easy and fun!
