Inspired by one of my favorite books, PS I Love You. The movie was good but let me tell you the book is 1,000 times better. There are a lot of moments not captured in the movie that are in the book, and the character development is much better. With that being said, let's move onto my date.
Everyday, I write Mr Barefoot a note in his lunchbox, today I left him an envelope with a note on the inside. The note had the lyrics to one of our two favorite songs, Galway Girl, ironically it is a song from the movie but that is not why we love it. The song talks about a girl who has dark hair and blue eyes, which I happen to have. When we first got together, he said every time he heard the song it reminded him of me. How can you not feel special when you are sitting on a beach and your guy starts singing one of your favorite songs to you.
I hope that he smiled when he read the lyrics and had a good day. (He told me later he loved it). When he got home there was another note on the door to our mudroom, that gave him the directions to take a shower and get ready to go out on our date. Each envelope was addressed to him with one of the nicknames that I call him as a special touch to make our date even more special.
After his shower, there was another envelope with his clothes just thanking him for being an amazing father and lover. There was also instructions to have a cold beer and say good night to the kiddos.

| Outback dinner :) |
Dinner was great, we didn't have to stop and cut someone elses' food, or correct behaviors, we just had a great night where we could sit and enjoy each other's company and our meal. After dinner, I handed him another envelope and slipped into the bathroom, I had changed into the dress he had first told me he loved me in. Inside the envelope was another picture of a star. When we lived in Hawaii, we would always walk to the beach and stargaze. We went to the closest park and laid out a blanket and looked at the stars. It was perfect. When we decided, we should probably head home, we had shave ice at a local place. Again, in honor of how and where we met.

| My white dress- Easter 2009 |
When we finally got home, I handed him his final envelope with five more reasons, why I love him. For Christmas of 2009, I created a book with Shutterfly of 102 reasons why I love with pictures, every once in awhile, I add to the list!
The best part of this date, it only cost us $10. I cashed in some points from Mypoints for a gift card to the Outback! Have to love a fantastic but budget friendly date!
